Last Sunday we had reservations for blowing our own ornaments at Glassworks. My Mom and Dad had both blown their own glass figure (Dad = ornament, Mom = kiss) but T and I had not. T helped me pick out the colors (we could choose 2) and then I got to actually blow the ornament. Since it had to be done quickly, T and I could not both do it. T was happy to sit back and watch.

Look how awesome my ornament came out!
Mom was last. She got white with red. The red looks like black until it is finished baking.
Once they were blown, they put them in an oven to bake for 24 hours. If they cool too quickly, the glass could shatter (or something like that). It was really neat.
Mine was really pretty. I loved how it turned out. And I have definitely kept it far out of Lexi’s reach!
